I agree, East Kentucky Football in general is all about pride and love for the game and the area you reside in. I am proud to be from the mountains and every kid in East Kentucky who puts on their school jersey is not only playing for their school but they are playing for their mountain heritage.

I understand the pride, love and heritage. But as long as that is your focus, your teams will be staying home after the regionals. The last time I looked, no state championship trophy is awarded to the best anything in the mountains. I know the top teams outside of the mountains are proud to be their areas best, but they could care less about that come playoff time.
