I thought the refs did OK. They missed Bell's head butt on Dawson and the two pass interference calls on Boyle were pretty iffy. The late hit call was pay back for the missed head butt I think.

Congrats to Boyle. Strong second half. As for the headbutt.....what preceded that should bring it to light. The two Boyle players held Hilton down a little long...and when he tried to get up one of them pushed him back down to the ground hard in the pile. Just football....but if you are the one under the pile and you get a little extra....he came up in their face. He moved aggressively into them. I don't think it was meant as a "headbutt" just didn't like what had happened in the pile and got in the players face. Not a typical response from John Dudley Hilton.
