Boyle County 13 Bell County 10 (4A Semifinal)
BluegrassBuckeye Wrote:Boyle really controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Even when Boyle fell behind 10-0 I never felt like we would lose. The only thing that worried me was when Boyle seemed to abandon Ress for a couple of series. Once we went back to our bread and butter, all was well.

No disrespect to Bell, but it was pretty obvious that Boyle was a BIG step up from what they were used to playing. I think that playing Lex Cath twice this season really prepared Boyle for this type of game. Bell played one big time opponent to open the season and was routed. That didn't do much to prepare them for a smash mouth game in November.
sorry but i think you are wrong this game was played in halfs..1st half bell came out and smacked boyle in the mouth...then 2nd half(when it counted) some questionable calls changed the game we didnt play bell county ball the 2nd half......rees is one h*** of a back.....BUT WHAT HURT BELL AND THE REASON THEY LOST THIS GAME WAS THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE A KICKER TO CASH IN THE 3 POINTS...WHEN WE WERE INSIDE THE 30 TWICE.....IF BELL HAD A KICKER LAST NIGHT BELL WOULD HAVE WON 16-10 NO DOUBT......MAN THEY MISS MONTE...GOOD WIN REBELS WILL BE PULLIUNG FOR YOU ALL IN BOWLING GREEN................AND OH YEAH WHAT ABOUT YOUR ALL FANS TAUNTING OURS PLAYERS AFTER YOU ALL WON...WHAT WAS THAT.....NO KID DESERVED TO BE TREATED LIKE THAT AFTER THEY LAEFT ALL THEY HAD ON THE FIELS....
