So I thought I'd bump it up. Let's hear it folks.

Stats according to AM News:

Bell Boyle

First Downs 8 18
rushing Yards 85 218
Passing Yards 122 51

Boyle had the only turnover in the game on the first play.

MacShara had 194 yards on 34 carries

Davenport had 53 yards on 22 carries

That kind of tells the tale. Boyle was physical on both sides of the ball when it counted the most, the 2nd half.
You see after putting up an impressive 226 yards on a real-good talented Lexington Catholic defense....I actually seen in my mind that this would happen. MacShara has been nothing more than incredible in the running game this season not to mention scoring too, but this guy is not the only player that Boyle depends on. Bell County is indeed a good talented team but it was just the competition they played that of course would put up 40 to 60 points until they met up with Boyle County, but my hat is off to Boyle, good job in a tough battle against the defending state champions and good luck next week, Bell keep your all's heads up.....District-Region Champion and State Semi-Finalist not to mention you all beat 2 good teams (Harlan Co.,and Lawrence Co.), I would have loved to see that result on my team my senior year for sure so please enjoy that and you all pretty much met your match and you got your match. Bell's strength of schedule improved just a little bit from last year except that Marion County game but overall Bell improved on things and will be looking forward for the 2010 season so good luck on the off-season Bell and Boyle good luck in the state championship next week!!!!!!!!!!
