I think this thread is nuts. Our players make mistakes, our coaches make mistakes, so WHY IN THE WORLD DO WE EXPECT REFS TO BE PERFECT? Some refs are better than others, just like some coaches and teams are better than others. Just another lifes lesson; you deal with whatever controversary comes your way and you get better for it. If you have played a game that comes down to winning or losing with one call then I say you didn't do all you could do to secure the victory.

Obviously I have never been a ref for football but have been a ref for many years in other sports so I do have some inside knowledge of the system. Knowing some of the fans following football, if I were a ref, I would run like 'heck' as soon as the game was over!!!!!!!!!!!!
