Who should get Coach of the Year in the Mountains?

Redneck Wrote:Hard to argue with Luke Salmons at Lawrence County. 0-11 last year, 12-1 this year with a Region Championship appearance. But then again, there were ALOT of people who predicted LC to have the type of season they had with all the players they had comin back.

John Derosett at Prestonsburg. Lost a boat load of talent, two outstandin RB's and handful of OL and defensive players. This was suppose to be a "rebuildin" year in most people's eyes. Now they are 13-0, and gettin ready to play in the State Semi-Finals (which they have a DARN good chance of winnin, prolly should win). Big wins over Belfry, AT Sheldon Clark (who is playin in the 3A State Semi's, also beat 5A Johnson Central), Shelby Valley, Pike Central (who Chapman coaches), AT Breathitt (3A region finalist), and traditional power Corbin in the 2A Region 4 Championship. That's some "rebuildin" year huh.

CO-Coaches of the Year in Mountains.
I would have to agree. They should be Co-Coaches of the year. However, if P-burg makes it to the State Championship Game I think that would give Derosett the edge.
