If the poster's point was that politics plays a part in high school football, then yeah, I'm on board with that. If that is what they meant then I'll gladly retract what I posted. I think what may have happened to make people feel the way they do is that two similarly talented players were competing for a position, one got the job while the other found himself helping the team in another position. When things didn't go the way the fans expected, they felt a change would turn things around. I agree with the end of your post completely. I'm not trying to bash any player and I don't believe it's a player problem. I guess that's why I posted the way I did. Their extreme example and the "look it up" comment just rubbed me the wrong way.

I wasn't coming at you at all ,just simply trying to say that when positions are taken it is only logical to consider the defense of them. Ithink that perhaps the problem or misunderstanding came when we considered other things [ie:politics} in the same post. Now let me say this and then I will shut up. This thread is about Tiger football which is close to many hearts. During the last few days many answers have been thrown out there. Most all appear tohave been at least in the ballpark. Ie: politics,responsibility,competence,economics and many others. Nothing will ever be done at PHS until there is a great deal of self examination and responsible action.
