If the poster's point was that politics plays a part in high school football, then yeah, I'm on board with that. If that is what they meant then I'll gladly retract what I posted. I think what may have happened to make people feel the way they do is that two similarly talented players were competing for a position, one got the job while the other found himself helping the team in another position. When things didn't go the way the fans expected, they felt a change would turn things around. I agree with the end of your post completely. I'm not trying to bash any player and I don't believe it's a player problem. I guess that's why I posted the way I did. Their extreme example and the "look it up" comment just rubbed me the wrong way.

This is exactly what I was referring to. The reason I say EKY is because in these small rural areas it is more likely to happen because everyone knows everyone and sees everyone almost everyday as compared to the larger schools west of here.
