I think your wrong lifting at a gym is very important because the weight room isn't always going to be open everyday of the year and i'll tell you one thing in the winter its not the warmest in the world out in the weight room i've been in there when it was 20 and 30 outside and If i had the choice of a gym or Russells weight room I would chose the warm gym with the more sophisticated weight equipment. Just because they lift on their own doesn't stop them from lifting with the team as well.:argue:

Come on GOREDDEVIL , lets put the excuses to bed. Idont care if it's zero outside, they need to be in there working out. This would only help them mentally as well. If your going to wait for perfict conditions to do anything, it'll never happen.Sombody has to put it in these kids head that football is a tough sport physically and mentally, and you have to learn to deal with any and all types of situations to be succesfull. I'm not talking just about wins and loses, but doing what it takes to survive and make it after your playing days are long over.Learn to adapt and overcome,If its that cold, bring a few heaters, wear extra clothes, heck just work out harder and build your body heat up.Lifes a series of challenges to be met and overcome. So lets start teaching these kids not to accept any excusses, but to go out and get the job done whatever it takes[ leagally of coarse]
