ok i have said this at least a hundreds of time matney's prodigy know anythng and everything about football so idiotic does not reflect the one who says it
mark my word he will be a head coach in eastern ky and will also hold winning records versus almost every team that he will oppose.
with that said matney is a good man very much a class act and thinks of everyone
and the coal bucket is the not the name the name is "The Rock" and anyone who has played there knows that is not just describing the field but that is describing what opposing teams hit when they step on the field against any sheldon clark team only these rocks hit back and hard!

This thread wasn't asking whether or not Matney's Prodigy was goin to be a coach or not. And I don't think anyone knows anything and Everything about anything..

I do agree however that idiotic doesn't always reflect the person who says it...

But the thing is this thread was someone's opinion on a public figure.. There is no need for name calling though.. Most of us on here are adults. So let's try to act like it.

I have never met Coach Matney. But i agree that he should have helped make accomodations for the other team. If it was a simple mistake the so be it. Things happen.

As for the fields.. SC has quite possible the worst field i've ever seen.. I went to a fair there one time, and tripped on a rock and though i broke my freaking leg.. So I could just imagine how the people feel when they play football there. Once again that's not entirely the coach's fault but surely to god he could fight to get it fixed..

All coached to weird things sometimes.. But that's no reason to jump all over them and call them classless.. So let's keep this thread clean, and tasteful.. Everyone has an opinion, and since this site is free and based on opinions, don't get pissed off when someone disagrees with you..

Since i've never met the man, i haven't got an opinion on him.. But i do have one thing to say.. He is trying to do away with the apple bowl..IMO. that is stupid.. Paintsville isn't a very big town, and that is something that people look forward too.. I'm not sure what the overall record of each team is, but that's a rivalry game like none other, why would you want to do away with it?

Apparently he thinks that P'ville will never be able to compete with J.C. now.. and i think that is a load of shit..
