This is all new and i am glad that they are trying to do this...maybe a little rough in the beginning but also feel that it will improve next time. I agrgee it is all about the kids... Yea some feelings will be hurt but I think the overall position of the KYMSFA is to recognize kids and their efforts...
NOW before the state championships,, I had only seen limited number of teams, but seen more on film... I had seen some really nice kids inthe playoffs and regular season, then get to the state championships and YES there were some really good teams and players there too. But to find the top is HARD,,,,,,, do you pick kids only in the championship weekend that have a great team to back them.. and punish a kid who has carried a team all the way thru that did not make the championships???

Alot of hard questions to answer... BUT like I said.. These guys are trying to do this and maybe it is not all ironed out,, but getting better every year.

One thing is for sure.. As long as there are coaches and parents who are willing to help in this venture.. the better it is going to get...
Maybe someone can present an offer to them to help find a better way????
All I know is that these guys bit off alot of work for themselves and not complained about the outcome one time........ Lets all give them a hand in their efforts,,, and maybe give them 2 hands in helping from here on out....
