Harlan County's JV went 6-2 with two teams cancelling. The Black Bears only two losses were to Bell (@ Bell 32-30) and LCC (@HC 38-20). The Bears avenged one of those losses with a win over Bell (@HC 22-18), and the rematch with LCC never came as there was a schedule misunderstanding. The young Bears were without 4 of their best athletes as two freshman and two sophomores start on varsity. They are a very aggressive and hard-working young bunch of kids. If they work hard and hit the weight room, they have a chance to compete in their district in the years to come.
