the 2009 Rockcastle County High School Football team recently earned their 20th overall playoff berth after a 42-14 victory over McCreary Central and a 2-2 record in district play, This is another big milestone the football team has earned. 20 times, Rockcastle County has appeared in the Kentucky High School Football Playoffs and congrats on the achievement, This is Rockcastle's 19th straight trip to the playoffs since 1991 and 20th overall, the first playoff appearance was 1983.
