What about the forfeits? This can't be correct. After your last response about Whitley Co., I called some people who are in the know....and they assurred me that I had heard correctly....Corbin forfeited the game at Whitley Co. and pulled out of the Whitley 8th grade tournament to which they had previously agreed too. I also asked about the fan's and they said the fan's did nothing, but complain to the Ref's to start calling fouls against Corbin before one of their girls got hurt. Your comment about Whitley fans being embarassed by their own, appears to be incorrect as well. Word has it now...that because of Corbin's actions (not Reciprocating games) there will be no more scheduled regular season middle school games between the two schools. Due to this fact, I'm sorry, but I tend to believe my sources of information and think you might want to re-check yours. Of course none of this matters now.....I hope we get a chance to see for ourselves who is better on a nuetral court. If Corbin is as good as you say......then it will happen at the State Tournament during one of the rounds unless Corbin doesn't show or leaves early again. I have been told Whitley Co. will be there. Mine could be wrong, although it was someone at Whitley Co. who told me that the Whitley administration thought it was best for these two teams not to play each other in middle school sports due to the bad blood and the Corbin officials agreed. When police, who were at the game, have to forcibly remove fans from the gym, then maybe it is best they don't play.

I was at the game and I think that Whitley Co. has a better team, but it was not the officials who lost the game for them, it was due to Corbin playing very well and their own coaches inability to make game adjustments. I'm not sure if the Corbin administrators will allow them to play Whitley or not should they match-up in the tournament.
