I have never realized how many words of wisdom I give my 14-year-old daughter until she pointed it out to me the other day (through tears of laughter of course). Here are just a few that I thought were rather helpful I must say...

When addressing the fact that her boyfriend was checking out another girl, my words of wisdom was to tell him that:
:graduate: "The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, UNTIL he sees someone else playing in his yard!"


When addressing the fact that I won't let her stay out until 12:00 after a ballgame with the rest of her friends, my words of wisdom to her:
:graduate: "It's not that I am treating you like a kid, it's the fact that you are one"

When addressing the fact that she thinks I spend too much time on the computer, my words of wisdom to her:
:graduate: "It's not that I want to, but the directions said "Adult Supervision Required" so I can't leave it alone"


I'm sure have been more and there definitely will be, so I will add them on here the next time she brings it up.
