BIG 12- Cornhuskers Cy the Cardinal
PAC10- Trojans Cardinal Tree
WAC- Aggies (pick one) Buster Bronco
MT. WEST- Utes Aztec (STSU)

Now i know many of my picks can be criticized but here is justification on the names. Terapins (its a turtle), Friars ( pretty self explanatory), Buckeyes (its a nut), Gamecocks and Trojans (taken out of contest these two can make for some good jokes), and all the others lets be honest they are just terrible names. As far as the mascots i dont like Big Al, Tulane Pelican, Cy the Cardinal, or the Cardinal tree because they are confusing when you look at the actual name of the team. Chief Osceola and the Aztec because im a fan of a costume not a guy dressed in indian clothes, although Chief Osceola riding in on the horse is pretty cool. Buster Bronco has a comical face, the Nittany Lion could be a bear, cat, dog, you just dont know, an if you havent got a chance to see a picture of the providence friar DO IT, hes hilarious. The basketball head guys is just very unoriginal, plus CMU has had so many mascot issues its ridiculous.
