Adams vs. Paintsville (Little Apple Bowl)
#9
BEAR CLAWS Wrote::policeman Somebody call the police because Adam's B-team has been ROBBED! Both teams played hard but it was clear that the game was decided by the 3 Johnson County refs (one of which is the father of a Paintsville player). They called back at least 160 yards of offense and 2 TDs on the Blackcats. Unfortunately this is not the first time this has occurred with these particular refs. The only time this Blackcat team has a chance is when they are not playing a Johnson County team. There was a TD called back at the end of the first half and again in the first series of the second half. Anytime the Blackcats started to win the game the refs made sure that it didn't happen. I have personally seen one of these refs curse and yell at our coaches in front of ALL the kids. Johnson Central played at Prestonsburg this year and these same refs allowed a J.C. parent to come onto the field cursing and they did NOTHING! Any Prestonsburg fan would have been escorted out of the stadium if ever behaving in that manner. It is such a shame that children practice so hard and play with such heart to only have the game decided by the refs. Who would hire these people to keep calling Prestonsburg games???? It would be easy to prevent this from happening in the future by no longer using these refs. I certainly would not want that on my hands!!!!!!!
Wrong.
Get your facts straight before you say stupid stuff.
I know each of them, and only 1 of them even has kids, and they are in Martin Co, where he is from.

I do have to say, I was completely impressed with Adams 8th grade last nite. One of the 3 best teams, small or large, I have seen this year. I haven't gotten to see BL, who they say are the favs in Floyd Co, but Adams completely impressed me, great football they played last nite.
