They like to run the spread offense to utilize their speed and athleticism offensively, and defensively they run a 3-5 that mimics the Patriots defensive scheme. They were a little overmatched in 5A because of their enrollment being one of the smallest in the state for that class, but with the re-classification, they will be a solid 4A team. Before moving up to the big school districts, they were consistently one of the top 10 best 3A (current 4A) teams in the state year in and year out.
Refered to a lot as Covington Holmes. They are very athletic but still trying to find an identity as a football program. I would speculate they will have a chance to win the district they are in.
I never remember them being 1 of the top 10 in the "old" 3A??????
