I don't see Weiss on the hot seat. Even-though this is Notre Dame, he has been getting tremendous support from the boosters. Though they expect to win, I still think he has at least two more years of mediocrity before they call for his head.

As for Bowden, I believe he is there for as long as he wants to continue coaching. Which, if Joe-Pa continues to coach, so will Bobby.

Weiss- He no longer can use the excuse of having Willingham's players that he has hid behind for the past couple years. This is his team, and solely his. Heck, he even threw his coordinator under the bus last year and took over the offense (which still was far from prolific). Nearly every national media outlet or bathroom rag has projected a BCS Bowl for Notre Dame, Lou Holtz has announced Notre Dame goes undefeated and plays Florida for the National Title. Lou is senile, but everyone is talking about that prediction and justifying why it is possible. If Notre Dame has another .500 season against a weak schedule with a team expected to be playing in a BCS game, it is bye bye Weiss. Boosters will always pay money at Notre Dame, but they will choose who that coach is who will be receiving that money. Plus, the national fi***ion with Weiss will cause so many rumblings that it will double the ammount of pressure.

Bowden- Jimbo Fisher's "Coach in Waiting" Contract clearly states that if Bowden is not gone after 3 seasons from when Fisher was announced that FSU has to pay him some outragous amount of money (looked it up and his buyout is 2.5 million) and that he can pursue other openings. The only reason Bowden is still coaching is so he can pass Paterno. Don't believe that? Well FSU is petitioning the NCAA to GIVE UP SCHOLARSHIPS instead of TAKING AWAY HIS WINS! Once again... FSU would rather handicap their chances in the future of ever winning a National Title then give up meaningless wins in mediocre seasons in the past couple years! If you are a Trustee for FSU would you rather have your coach retire as the winningest head coach if it meant you won't be competitive towards a National Title for the next 10 years and you lose your Stud young coach to a school you have to recruit against, all the while paying hm millions of dollars?
