MY pet peeve - ppl. who post false stuff on msg. boards.


Tell me, what type of person are you? And I'm serious about this.

1. Did you hear this from someone and believe every bit of it?
2. Did you see this on a msg board and believe every bit of it?
3. Did you hear the airport story, then made up your mind, then didn't bother following the story to see what happened?
4. Plain, out-and-out Glen Beck.

I'm really curious, because this seems to be all the rage this year (making stuff up about guys whose skin is darker than mine)

Yep. Start with 1 truth, then run thru a list of false stuff.

"He had it in a makeshift water bottle."
Really? Did you see it? Because no one else has.

"He refused to let authorities search it before boarding a plane."
They didn't ask to search it... they asked FOR it. To TAKE it. And KEEP it.

"But they knew what it was..."
Yep... a container with more than 3 ounces of liquid, which isn't allowed on planes.

"...and knew he was a thug punk."
Really? They told you this?

"They confiscated it..."
Nope... he GAVE it to them.

"...and found the dope."
No, they didn't. (If they had, why was he allowed to get on the plane?)

"His lawyer put together all the BS that said he didnt know it was in there."
You have proof that he DID know?

"Long story short he is a repeat offender and a criminal. Go ahead and support him if you will. "

True. He is a criminal, and he broke more than one law.
I've broken the law, too. Got a speeding ticket once, but have, admittedly, been eligible for more.
Don't always come to a complete stop at all stop signs.
Probably trespassed a few times back when I was a kid, too.

Remember, this wasn't a kid who was groomed to be a star from age 13. Came from a bad neighborhood. Had bad influences all around him. Dad left, Mom drove a school bus. Wasn't even 1st team all district in HS.
Now he's lost more than one multi-million $ contract. I think he's been given some incentive to change.
