It's been owned by Charlie and Tina Mattingly since 2001, when they took it over and restored some parts that were decrepit. If you go to www.therealwaverlyhills.com it still says on the home page that they are the owners.

Tina Mattingly was seen on SciFi's Ghost Hunters when they came to investigate. She showed them around the building during the walkthrough.

As for concerts, I have never heard of them having any there, but maybe that was before 2001. I really didn't hear of Waverly until I met some people from around Louisville in college, and that wasn't until 2004.

I know Lamb of God had a concert outside of it back in like 03 or so...
