I will probably come up with more later. There are other players to be mentioned from schools that I did not name but they probably fall into the category of best from those schools, not the best of all-time coming out of this region.

Betsy Layne has had several good players and Belfry also. Kathy Spinks played for Belfry, led them to the state finals in 1984 against Marshall County, and went on to play for Pat Summit at Tennessee. Geri Grigsby from Mcdowell use to score massive amounts of points in the seventies.
