The Bengals have quite a few spots up for grabs going into training camp, which will open July 31 at Georgetown College.
One position battle will be for the role of primary backup running back behind Cedric Benson...........
.....It is almost certain that Benson will be the Bengalsâ starting running back heading into his first full season with the team. Last year, Benson joined the Bengals four weeks into the regular season and was named the starter over Chris Perry after Week 6.
Early in the offseason, veterans Dorsey and Watson appeared to be the front-runners to be backup running back.
