The John Calipari era at Rupp Arena will begin against an unlikely local opponent.
Kentucky will host Campbellsville in an exhibition game on Nov. 2.
Campbellsville has never played against UK at Rupp Arena.
In a press release issued late Monday night, Campbellsville Athletic Director
Keith Adkins said Steve Branscum, a trustee at both UK and CU, deserved much of the credit for working out the match up.
The time of the game has yet to be announced.
