Elm street Wrote:I am glad to hear from any jc posters that they do have more than one player, give the other boys some credit too, blume cannot do what he does without them. On the other hand and you MUST agree, Blume is all anyone has heard form the press to the posters on this very thread. THATS why I made my ARROGANT post (attn golden eagle) I am not by far an arrogant person nor am I a bragging type. Win or lose, Ashland WILL be the best team you have faced. bring your best game. Leave everything on the field. I PROMISE Ashland will.

I totally agree 100%! This is the way it has been in football for as long as I have been around it. Being a running back myself, I see that the press, the fans, and others who aren't very familiar with football give ALL of the credit to the backs and receivers. Just the way it has been, press gives the light to the backs but the backs SHOULD give some of the light to the big guys up front. Not all backs do, but they should. If it weren't for those guys in the trenches, the ball carrier would get no where, and I don't care who you are!!! That being said, I think the key to whoever will win this game will be LINE BLOCKING!
