The Wing-T is ball control oriented. The formation includes a "wingback" so there is the threat of at least three deep receivers. All three backs are close enough to the formation so that they may be used as blockers, carrying, etc. Like bigcoachallen said, you need some big "hog mollies" on the offensive line for this offense to run effectively. Bill Walsh ran this offense back in the day.

The Spread is actually probably better to run in high school than in college IMO. If you have a deep-ball throwing Quarterback, quick and athletic receivers, and even a decent blocking offensive line, then your spread offense will be extremely productive and tough to stop.
