I believe the bast lake in East Kentucky for size would be bar none, Yatesville Lake. It takes about 12-16lbs to consistantly be in the money in any tournament there. However Paintsville Lake is making a huge comeback this year. It is now taking 8-10lbs to win tournaments there and you catch alot of fish while doing it. Paintsville has been overwhelmed with 10-12 inch fish, but with there slot limit, I think it's finally starting to work. Several 5-7lbs Bass have came from Paintsville this year with a few 8-9lbers that I know of. East Kentucky fishing has been pretty good this season so far.
