She helped lead the Lady Eagles to back to back 57th District and 15th Region Championships in 2008 and 2009. That's pretty obvious, too. Doesn't that count as quality coaching experience?

With the success this program has had in the past nearly two decades, you can't think that it's going to be turned over to someone who the administration doesn't have confidence in. That would be ridiculous. She'll go through some hard times, but what new coach doesn't. What she and the players deserve are some positive reactions from us - not the negative comments that have been thrown around seemingly by people who don't know what they are talking about.

For your information I usually don't respond on these boards but I just think this was wrong and that is why I signed up. I thought we were talking about HEAD coaching experience. An assistant is a pretty easy job espicially when the HEAD coach usually don't ask for any advice anyway. I think Phillip done an outstanding job but many know it was his way and only his way. He really didn't need help. What part of the administration are we talking about because I really only know one part of it that was really in on the decision. It would be ridiculous and only time will tell if it was the right decision. I have always said that I will support her and the program but I disagreed with the way the process or lack of was conducted. And with your last comment, I am not the one who is really been negative in this and since you know so much how about telling me what the hiring process consisted of? I think they had a committee, so tell me how many times that committee met? Did the other candidates even get a call or interview? You had at least two candidates with head coaching experience and one with College experience. I think I know a little more than you think and I do know what I am talking about! :Thumbs:
