who is the best mike linebacker in the mountains(going by stats) and impact
#3
Okay here's something to explain to you, linebackers have names for their position. For a MLB he is usually called Mike and the two outside backers are Will and Sam. Sam is the strong side OLB, and Will is the weak side outside backer. Some schools refer to them as left and right backers, and in that case left would be Louie and Right would be Ringo. In that case usually one is still Mike the other is Sam which stands for strong. Only circumstance I can think that this would change is if you went to a 4 LB set. In that case Sam would move to the inside with Mike and Will will still be outside. The 4th LB will usually be a walk up safety or a smaller sized and quicker linebacker usually referred to as Rover or Monster. Different schools usually substitute different names for the backers such as Ryan for right side or Leo of left side. Usually the first letter of the name will classify what LB position they play.
