SANDESTIN, Fla. â On the first day of the Southeastern Conference's spring meetings Tuesday, Commissioner Mike Slive decided it was time to address all the stories he has seen in the last few weeks. Seemingly one football coach after another has taken shots at another SEC coach through the media or at booster gatherings.
"The final analysis, what's good for one institution in this league is good for all institutions in this league, and what's not good for one institution is not good for everybody in the league. We're all in this together," Slive said.
