The sad thing is, Booher actually has a talented enough team to compete with top 15 and top 20 teams, but chooses not to so he can win.

If you look at the state champs over the past several years, you'll notice that almost all of them played atleast 5 top 20 teams throughout the season.

Booher is a good coach but does a poor job at preparing his team for the state tournament.

Again, Central Ky coaches do not want to play the better eastern ky teams because of the reasons I stated before. Plus, it looks bad in their communities and for their programs if they lose to eastern Ky teams. I don't believe Jefferson County is letting their schools even travel past a certain point this year because of mileage cost.

Elliott Co. (before they graduated everyone this year), Shelby Valley, Knott Co., Hazard, Paintsville (before they graduated everyone last year) cannot get top teams from central Ky. Plus during school nights, schools do not travel that far for a game.

I see SV is in Kingdom of the Sun in Fl. It is as good or better than any Ky tourney, probably most comparable to King of the Bluegrass. The WYMT traditionally has all the top teams from the mountains in it as well. SV will be fine and prepared.

For someone that acts like they are from Holmes or for Holmes, why in the world do you care so much about a team from a small town in eastern Kentucky?
