Cavanaugh Trent coaching at Knott Central?

Not quite as dumb as you thinking that Cavanaugh has an aunt in a position to give him a job anywhere. Get your facts straight.

I agree that the best athletes are not usually gifted with the most knowledge, however, Trent is the exception. His coaching resume speaks for itself. He has been a great asset to some of the region's best for many years. He possesses the rare ability of being able to connect with each and everyone of his players, which is essential in being able to succeed. His knowledge of the game is exceptional and his likability would enable him to surround himself with a great staff. Trent will make a great head coach and will build a program wherever he goes. The guy is a proven winner. Unfortunately, because his in-law (not aunt) is Superintendent, the ridiculous jealously is going to cause Knott Central to miss out on a great opportunity. Hopefully Amburgey is back at the helm next year to satisfy the Patriot faithful with another end of the year choke-job.

I remember a guy who was an assistant a few years at the mighty Horn (and they were mighty at the time, some of you from Knott should know that), then was given his chance with the Navajos. Nine regional titles and a few hundred wins later, he has made the best of that chance.

WOW!! Crown him 2010 14th region coach of the year now. The next coming of Billy G.................joke
