No. 25 Boone Co. 55, No. 16 Highlands 47 (9th): The Lady Rebels turned up the pressure defense in the second half and erased a halftime deficit with a big third quarter in a game between the region's two highest-rated teams.
Trailing by six at halftime, Boone County switched up their defense and outscored the Bluebirds 14-5 in the third quarter.
Junior forward Joscelyn Davis led the Lady Rebels with 16 points.
Boone County will play Newport Central Catholic in Saturday's finals at Northern Kentucky University.
