Adams brought their A game to the tournament last night. Congratulations to Garran Newsome for an outstanding effort. His defensive coverage of Meade left Wesley with no one to put up the numbers they needed to win. Newsome also had great night offensively leading the Blackcats in scoring. He was on his game last night hitting several 3-pointers. Congratulations also to Coach Howell for a very effective game plan. The Blackcats displayed a true TEAM effort last night. Stapleton, D. Newsome, and Chaffins covered the boards and gave Welsey few opportunities to pull down a rebound. One of the best moves of the night was when Williams displayed his ball handling skills, at one point going down to the floor and continuing to dribble and maintain control of the ball. Keens also gave a great effort dribbling into the lane and putting up the shot to score several times. Congratulations to the Blackcats and good luck against Betsy Layne!
