Prayers to the young man injured and all involved.

I'm in no way shape or form involved with either school. I'm in a whole other region. I've just read what was on here about what occurred. I was wondering if there are charges and let's say even convictions that are a result of this, what will be the long term affect that this will have on basketball? I realize that people's tempers are still very high right now and this may be an innappropriate time to ask and my apologies if it is. It's just that anytime you start getting lawyers involved .....and the court system...and money......

Like I said, I hope this question doesn't offend anyone. If it were my son I may feel totally different. These are teenagers involved.
