Nice outing by both teams, but left those who went without anything special to remember.
The Camels played without star guard Patrick Nerl, who will also be out for the Scott County game on Tuesday.
The halftime score was 29-26 Holmes, with the Bulldogs Ricardo Johnson and Elijah Pittman, as well as Campbell County's Ben Franzen spending most of the half on the bench due to fouls.
Holmes held a 46-37 at the end of the third quarter. Pittman spent most of the quarter on the bench and when he was on the floor, appeared to be bothered by his hurt wrist.
A Ricardo dunk started the 4th Quarter, and the finished with each team trading baskets until the end of the game.
As well as the Camels played, they missed Patrick Nerl's slashing and shooting ability. Nerl would have made the game much closer for the Camels.
Nice showing by both teams. Holmes will play Conner on Tuesday, and very tough team. The Camels must travel to Georgetown to play Scott County, again without Nerl on the floor.
