Too bad this tourney is going to be all the way up at Powell county. Lot of travel for the teams involved. Lot of late nights.

Well, when it is in Hindman, Hazard, or Whitesburg it's the same thing for 14th region counties like Powell, Estill, Lee, Owsley, and Wolfe. A lot of travel for the teams and fans from those areas as well. When it's in your area we say, "Too bad it's way down there because it's gonna be a lot of travel for our teams that are involved. Lot of late nights."

And the bad thing about it is those 5 counties have had to travel and have late nights for many years. But we accepted it because until Powell built their 3500 seat gym in 1977, we didn't have a gym big enough to host it. Now we do, and now it's our turn. We only get it ever 7 years. Is that such a big deal? :confused:

Why should it just be one way all the time? What's fair about that? Is the southern part of the region any more important than the northern part?
