I've heard this for two years and now with the school losing over half of its endowment then I would say some of the sports teams will get the axe. Football is the most expensive sport that the school runs...IF they don't let it go this year then I would look for it to be gone in a year or two. When I played and was in school, with the exception for the last year, Pikeville was ranked nationally, went to the playoffs and were fun to watch....I'd hate to see it go, but they got to do what they got to do....it was started with the intentions of EKY kids getting the chance to play but it has never been like that.
