Actually I think that one big misconception people have of Elliott County is that they are strictly a three point shooting team. Where the usually score is with their defense and points off turnovers.

Shelby Valley did not turn the ball over much in this game. That limits Elliott Counties chances and slows the game. I think you slow them down and make the Lions shoot the three. If they are on then you have problems. But if you stay in their face and they have an off shooting game like todays, then they are ripe for the picking.

You are correct. But today it was Valley that come out on top of the TO's generated with a 16-9 margin. Also Valley had a 15-7 points off turnovers margin. That with the tight D on the EC 3's and you have them beat. EC can't beat Valley in a half court game so that ends it. The depth of Valley hurts EC too, with SV's bench points winning this category 14-0.
