It's been a while since I logged onto BGR. I am not surprised to see Powell has yet another debate. But to throw a coach under the bus. I just don't think these people realize the committment and sacrifice a coach gives to the kids, and yet receives little, or no respect in return. This is from players and parents. I hope the AD there can realize it will take time to rebuild this team and teach these kids an entirely new concept...respect, discipline and hard work achieves results. No one owes you guys anything. No one is required to give you a spot on a team because of your age, height, weight, color, last name, financial assets or reputation. You gotta earn it. Keep up the good work coach and the players that have pulled through this bad time. You will perservere and be glad in the end!

WELL I THINK ITS THE COACHES CONCEPT THATS THE PROBLEM. I HAVE SEEN EVERY GAME THIS YEAR AND HAVE WATCHED THE CHANGES HE IS TRYING TO MAKE. I THINK THE COACH MAY BE UNWILLING TO MESH HIS STYLE WITH THE PLAYERS TALENT. MAYBE HIS SLOWED PACED ,RUN A BUNCH OF PLAYS VERSUS THE HIGH SPEED ALL GO NO STOP STYLE THEY HAVE BEEN PLAYING, MOST OF THEM FOR 6 YEARS IS BATTELING EACH OTHER. WE NEED A GOOD MIDDLE HERE FOR THE COACH AND THE PLAYERS. OBVIOUSLY THE CURRENT STYLE IS NOT WORKING. ALSO THE COACH CAN BE UNDECISIVE WHEN HE CHOOSES A PLAY DURING A TIME OUT. I MEAN I HAVE HEARD HIM SAY WELL GUYS LETS RUN THIS PLAY AND THEN SAY WHAT DO YOU THINK GUYS OR MAYBE WE SHOULD DO THIS INSTEAD CAN YOU DO IT. I THINK HE MEANS WELL REALLY I DO AND HE IS A NICE PERSON. I KNOW THE BOYS THERE ARE TRYING, WORKING HARD, SHOWING UP TO ALL PRACTICES, AND LISTENING TO THE COACH. BUT ALWAYS REMEMBER TO GET RESPECT YOU ALSO HAVE TO GIVE IT. PLAYERS AND COACHES.
