I don't know how much you have seen all of these teams play, but if you feel that way then I'm not sure you've seen enough of all of them as a whole. I've seen Eastern (16 times), J'Town (8 times), Ballard (5 times), Male (6 times), Manual (5 times)...so I venture to guess that up to this point in the season I have probably seen them at their best and their worst. I have to agree with FishFry that there are distinct tiers in the 7th region, while not overlooking the fact that all of top 7 have the ability to beat one another on any given night.

As for the J'Town by 1 over Manual and Eastern by 10...teams have off nights, it happens and it is more likely that J'Town had an off night and STILL beat Manual than it is that Manual is as good a team as J'Town at this point, fact of the matter is there just plain not as good. Period.

Yes, once the savior of all that is basketball, formerly known as Jacob Jenkins, comes back, Manual will no doubt be a much improved team and will probably spice up the regional tournament even more...I do not see them on the same level as those in tier 1.

In my opinion the tiers look like this:

Good post Easternalum. I don't think even Jay Bilas has a better grip on basketball than you do. No one called him the savior anymore than you've called Eastern a dynasty. Your tiers are subjective and your user name is part of that subjectiveness. Rank'm and spank'm all you want, it does you no good come tourney time in the 7th.
