No I'm not being confrontational about it. I wasn't going to get extremely technical either.


My Old Kentucky Home is played in the same spirit as the Star Spangled Banner. How about I say it is the state anthem instead of song.

Thats great that the state of Tennessee actually adopted Rocky Top as one of its state songs. Still not THE state song.

UT plays that song to death. Every time they score, which in the past has been alot against UK. It is more of a cheer than a song that shows respect for the state.

I do maintain my point that there is no comparison, or at best a very slim comparison.

Haha! I think it's a pretty obvious comparison when they are both state songs, and just because UK doesn't play as much as TN plays Rocky Top is hardly an adequate argument.

That is fine, i have no problem with you maintaining that stance, but I will also maintain the stance that I think you nitpick to death on here and try and get pointless arguments stirred up, and just lilke this one, I think it's a little rediculus.
