powell is struggling early. McFarland is having trouble stayig out of foul trouble. Powell is letting people beat them on D . They are not that good at playing D, that is going to hurt powell this year. Last year the lady pirates gave up alot of points, but they had a combination on lacy( good rebounder/ had a lot of put backs) Rogers and Mcfarland. Now that they have lost they Lacy girl they are having trouble getting put backs. Powell may not have thought that the 2 seniors they lost last year would affect them alot, but both Jones and Lacy were a big part of that team. I hope the pirates can pull through and find there rythmn.
