It's amazing that people get on here and post things not even close to the truth. Here are the facts coming from a family member of Zach's that I live close to.
He has recieved 8 offers so far, with 4- 5 of those being D-1. Without giving out to much information out of respect for the family, I would guess that some of the schools would include Marshall, Kent, Ohio, EKU, S. Fla, Middle Tenn and Cinn has jumped in the mix hard as of late. Uk has offered a greyshirt but I don't think he is interested. There are 2 other schools offered, one in Georgia and one in SC. For those who says he's not mobile, he ran a 4.65 at UK and Marshall and Kent sent word that they love his mobility. I would say he is at the 4.7 range which is good for a qb. I would say he didn't run that much because if he got hurt, Clay's season would be in trouble.
The funniest post seem to be arm strength. According to the guy I talked to, he said arm strength and knowledge seemed to be the thing that the college coaches liked the most about him. I know for sure that his arm is second to none in this state. Nowhere he has been has his arm been questioned.
Going D-1 doesn't seem to be a big deal to Lewis. He seems to be looking for a school where he can play early, and play a comfortable style and close to home.
One more thing. The guy told me that Zach has been measured more that anyone can imagine. He has never been measured under 6'1 1/2. He exact words is barefooted he is a "smidge" under 6'2. He weighs around 215.
Please, I hope this post clears up alot for the interested fans out there. Everyone has opinions and that's fine to post them. Just don't post heresay or untruths. These kids read this stuff as well. If a mountain player goes to college and gets it paid for, what more could you ask for.
