Elisha Justice isn't going to win games for SV by himself, he still needs good players around him. It makes no sense for you to expect any more out of Whitaker. He is a great player, yes, but Hazard was still missing some key players. SV would have been in similar shape if, say, Hatfield and Bryant were out.

Bottom line, SV won a game they should have won, but it means nothing. The real test will be if the two play later in the season when both teams have their full rosters. That, I think, would be a toss-up.

I agree, any game between the two would be a toss up. The scrimmage was fun because both teams played hard and watching the two guards go head to head was a treat, but it wasn't a true barometer of what either team will do during the regular season.
