Jockey Julien Leparoux tied Hall of FamerPat Day's track record with seven wins at Churchill Downs. The 25-year-old Leparoux won his first seven races Tuesdaybefore coming up just short in his final two mounts. Day set the record by winning seven races in eight mounts onJune 20, 1984.
