Prestonsburg did beat themselves. You actually think SV is that good? SV's speed had nothing to do with how P-burg's offense played. P-burg has played teams 100x quicker than Valley and beat them this year. You ever heard of Breathitt Co.? I think they are just a tiny bit better than Valley. Heck, even Bath Co. proved they are better than Valley and P-burg destroyed them.

Fact of the matter is, no matter how good of a team you are, you are going to have close games no matter who the opponent is. Championship teams find ways to win and Prestonsburg did so. Shelby Valley played a good game, but Prestonsburg should have beaten the crap out of them and didn't. It's nobodys fault but P-burg's.

I want to respond to this post. SV is a good enough team to fall to P-burg by one with P-burg scoring with 38 seconds to go. SV's speed had nothing to do with it? Why all the missed passes with defenders in the receivers faces then? That makes it sound like Valleys defenders didnt make a difference if the pass was cought or not.

You are right about championship teams finding a way to win. But on the other hand, doesnt championship teams play every game hard and not play down to their oppenent? In your opinion, if next Friday, if the same score is the same as this one with Belfry coming out on top, will it be because Belfry played down to P-burg or would you be saying that P-burg is under rated?
