Please tell me how you can justify saying that neither team is very good? Paintsville's losses come from Prestonsburg (3A), Johnson Central (5A), and Raceland (#2 team in 1A). Pikeville's losses come from Corbin (undefeated), Ashland (5A), Lex. Catholic (4A), Belfry, and Pburg.

If you're going to excuse their losses because of the level of competition, then you have to apply the same principle to each team's wins. So, let's see... Pikeville has beaten Allen Central, South Floyd, and Betsy Layne, while Paintsville has beaten the same three teams, plus Phelps. Do you see any wins there to brag about? I don't.

So, based on their schedules so far, what do we know about each team? They can beat up on their weak 1A district brethren, but get thumped by good out-of-district schools. Although that doesn't necessarily mean that they are "bad" teams, it also doesn't show any evidence that either is a "good" team.

Remember, we allow people to speak their minds on BGR, so long as they aren't disrespectful and stay on topic. The thread topic is "Pikeville @ Paintsville", so if someone wants to say that neither team is very good, that's well within their rights to express that opinion.
