Sheldon Clark vs. Pike County Central - Oct. 10
#50
Matney's Prodigey Wrote:Ladies and Gentlemen this could be the most ludicrous statment in the history of BGR. How can you say that. You have no stats, no numbers to show that you have polled coaches and they said they would start him in a pass happy offense, despite the fact he throws around 50 passes a year. When you say somthing like that all it does is make you and all your other posts look bad. Don't just make stuff up.

Back to the game SC will handle Pike Central. PCC is hands down the 3rd best team in the district, but they are not ready to compete with SC & Belfry. PCC has some athletes and if SC makes mistakes (turnovers and/or penalties) then PCC will be in the game and have a shot to win. Should be a fun one to watch.

Relax man, it's just an opinion. Nobody would be allowed to post anything hardly if they had to "poll" or do a lot of research to back up their statements. EKU was just saying that Andrew Elkins is a fantastic passer, which he is. If Belfry wanted to throw 25-30 times a game he would be the player to do it. However, when you have one of the best rushing attacks in the state, there is no need to throw it too much. Elkins threw 87 passes last year and 80 in'06. In '03 Paul Howard threw 82 times and I dont have the numbers for '04 and'05.
