Take into account with not only what just the gate now brings in, but tack on consessions and other various fund raising tokens, I feel safe in saying that the coaches salary is way more than taken care of as well as a major portion of the entire athletic budget subsidized for the year by football revenue. In business we just call it marketing your product. Sometimes to make money, you have to spend money.
